Leila
Leila is named after my beautiful friend Leila, whom I assimilate power and grace to hence the back cut outs and the softness of the material. In addition, the piece is truly a staple of the transition between the 90’s and the 2000’s, the long dresses with open backs. Moreover, the piece comes in two different colors, both to honor the person it’s named after, as it reminds me so much of both her sides, soft and strong. Lastly, the material is velvet which goes hand in hand with the rest of the pieces.
